I haven't heard of this book, but it sounds amazing. I love the cover - I bet the gold parts are shinier in person than they show up online.
What a great, dramatic part of the story to jump in to. I can't remember reading any historical fiction about Elizabeth that emphasizes her thoughts or feelings about her mother.
