I really enjoyed this book. I received it yesterday and haven't been able to put it down since. It is a brilliant introduction what what should be a cracking series.

The book was quite slow to start, introducing both Claire and the world she has found herself in. As is quite understandable she freaks out big time. While it was slow it was nice getting to know some of the characters before launching into the story along with the whole scene being set for the mystery of the killer werewolf. I must admit I thought I had the story cracked but was completely wrong when I got there.

I liked Claire as a character and thought she was really sweet and down to earth. I loved the relationship she had with her best friend and that Claire struggled to come to terms with the fact that their relationship had changed somewhat now that Claire had become a werewolf as she now couldn't be completely honest with her. I was interested in Matthew but he didn't really get enough scene time as it were to be developed enough for me.

The final section of the book is where all the action finally happens. I literally couldn't put the book down at this point and without saying too much I thought the outcome was awesome. Looking forward to the sequel already.
