I literally have no idea where to begin with this review and I'm going to apologise in advance because this is probably just going to be a bit of fan girl ramble in which I try not to tell you too much about the storyline so I don't spoil it for anyone.

There were so many things I loved about this book...

I fell completely and utterly in love with Jem and Will all over again whilst reading this. Both of them are so wonderfully gorgeous in their very different ways and I at the point where I can totally get why poor Tessa can't make her mind up being the two of them as I can't decide either.

I love Charlotte and Henry and their relationship. I loved seeing how their relationship developed over the course of this book as it was so incredibly sweet.

The main plot of this series was awesome as there were so many twists and turns and action throughout.

I love the setting of this series and how the historical setting dictates how the characters react to certain situations. I still love how Tessa finds Sophie scandalous and how she can't get over the fact that Shadowhunters don't wear skirts when fighting.

As brilliant as the first book which has left me just as excited for the next book ... how am I going to be able to wait until next year???
