A funny and frank superhero story set in the world of Othergirl. Joseph ‘Wilco’ Wilkes is one of life’s loser’s – he’s picked on, pushed around, and bullied by the rugby boys at the posh private school he attends on a scholarship. I really enjoy Nicole's books and I enjoyed this addition to her Othergirl world. It was really interested to get this story from a male point of view. It was great to have cameos from characters from characters from Othergirl. It was fun and I really enjoyed the characters. You really feel for Joe as you see the hard time he is having at school and at home and it's nice to see him discovering his powers and use those to become stronger within himself.
