Blog tour: The Secret Seaside Escape by Heidi Swain

Escape to the seaside with the brand new novel from Heidi Swain, the Sunday Times bestselling author of feel-good women’s fiction!

Tess Tyler needs a break. Weighed down by her high-pressure job and her demanding father, she’s left little time to take care of herself. But after a shocking discovery sends her spiralling, she flees to Wynmouth, the seaside town she fell in love with as a child, to escape it all.

With its sandy beaches, stunning rock pools and welcoming community, Tess feels like she can finally breathe again. And as she grows ever closer to local barman Sam, she dares to dream that she might never return to her real life. But when a familiar face returns to town, Tess realises that there are secrets in Wynmouth too, and that her own past may be about to catch up with her . . .

The Secret Seaside Escape  is the perfect read this summer, promising sandy beaches, stunning rockpools and breath-taking romance. Perfect for fans of Carole Matthews and Sarah Morgan.

I was delighted to be asked to host a slot on the blog tour for Heidi Swain's latest title The Secret Seaside Escape. I love Heidi's books and was particularly excited for this one as it is set on the beautiful North Norfolk Coast where I have lived all my life.

I was not at all disappointed by this latest book. It has that wonderful feel of a Heidi Swain book where you know that you are going to be in for quite a lovely time and goodness me we are need that escapism at the moment.

I loved meeting Tess and following her on her adventure as she runs away to Wynmouth, a tiny village on the North Norfolk Coast. One thing Heidi does particularly well in her books is that she builds up a community that you come to love with a host of delightful characters and this was no exception. I loved seeing Tess meet the people of Wynmouth and settle into the community and find herself a place.

This book showcases the North Norfolk Coast beautifully. It captures the big skies, sea air  gorgeousness that is involved with living by the sea and the slower pace of life that being tucked out of the away affords.

All in all a delightful read which is exactly what I needed. I'm already on the count down to a return visit.
