How I cured my book buying habit and an update

You may have noticed things around here have been a lot quieter than normal. I'm still here but things have changed for me blogging wise.

I'm still reading but I'm getting much of my reading material from the library of late.  It's not to say that I don't love a review copy but I am enjoying the freedom to read what I like when I like. Browsing through the library shelves this year has got me reading a far wider range of books than I have previously and it is really nice to find these gems that I may have previously missed.

One thing I actually love about joining the library is that is has really cracked my book buying habit. It's not to say that I'm not buying books but it does mean that I'm now only purchasing books that I adore rather than spending out lots and lots on books that I was reading once (or DNFing) before passing onto someone else.

So what does this mean for the future of The Overflowing Library. For the time being I'll still be around, I'll still gladly review books for all those lovely publishers who continue to send me review copies. Alongside my reviews for titles sent to me expect to see lots about lovely titles I've borrowed from the ever wonderful Norfolk library service because if I've learnt nothing else this year 2017 will be the year I fell back in love with my local library. I can't believe I spent so many years away.

Hello! I hope you see this. I have been trying to find a UK arc copy of Daughter of Smoke and Bone and I came across your blog about it. Do you still have it and would you be willing to trade?
